At NRBT, Tupou began as a Systems Analyst before advancing to the role of Senior Executive Officer to the Governor, where she managed high-level administrative functions, corporate communications, and Board operations. She successfully led the transition to a paperless board system, modernizing the Bank’s governance documentation and decision-making processes.
Her passion for people and organizational development led her to Tonga Power Limited, where she served as a Senior HR Officer. Her portfolio included employment relations, recruitment and selection, payroll processing, contract management, policy development, documentation, and staff training.
Tupou holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration majoring in Information Systems, and a Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington. Despite balancing a demanding career and family responsibilities, she completed her LLB in 2023 and her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in 2024 from the University of the South Pacific. She was admitted to the Tonga Bar in May 2025 and appeared in her first court matter at the Magistrates Court that same month. Tupou also made her first apperance at the Supreme Court of Tonga in June 2025.
Tupou is currently developing her legal practice in employment law, family law, land law, criminal law, and civil claims, while continuing to learn under the mentorship of senior lawyers at the firm. Her approach is rooted in service, humility, and excellence, guided by a deep commitment to justice and community wellbeing.
Outside the office, Tupou is a proud wife and mother of three. She actively supports children’s programs at her local church, is an avid baker and passionate gardener, and has a deep love for flowers and nurturing growth in every form.
